TWIN WDP4s Show Their Fury at 95kph!!

June 15 2010, 1547hrs. I was taken totally by surprise when I saw the Bangalore – Mysore Tippu Intercity Superfast Express with twin WDP4s (again) coming towards me at a higher-than-normal speed! It thundered past at ~95kph. The locos were UBL WDP4s #20009 and #20007. The train was late by 17 minutes, which was because of the late arrival of Dharwad – Bangalore Siddaganga ICE, with which this train has RSA. Turn up your speakers at the end and listen to the funny honking! Location: Near Kengeri, Bangalore. Camera: Canon PowerShot SX20 IS.

Trial Run

Nice to have a camera again. I took this mainly as a test of my new SD 900 camera. Because I didn’t check the settings I didn’t see that the camera was set to 15fps and on the PAL system. After I took these I changed settings and will test again this weekend. This video is driving on Dam Neck Rd.
