You’ll be using manual focus, and setting the aperture on the lens, but put your Canon in aperture priority mode and it’ll meter automatically, changing the shutter speed for a correct exposure. I’m not saying this is the best glass in the world, but it’s great to play around with and using a prime lens (no zoom) will improve anyones photography.
